Today I am Inspired by Metallica!!

Today I am Inspired by Metallica!! Started with "Don't Tread on me",then "Nothing Else Matters"-really gave me chills, playing it. (That's the reason why music is my life: Chills. That makes me think that music, in my life, represents something bigger than I can imagine.) Then "Eye of the Beholder".

I wrote the first part of this text in myspace/twitter hearing "One", and now I'm hearing "Confortable" of John Mayer. This was the first song I sang today and wanted to play it, but I will only see how to play it now! Because Metallica got in the way!!!

Probably this inspiration comes from the Surf, yesterday, in the late afternoon!...

A lot of new things to come: originals/concerts and videos of me playing song versions/covers.

Naná Vasconcelos- Música para dizer alguma coisa, Música "Pensada " VS Música "Sentida"

Ontem no jornal da tarde, na RTP, ouvi e conheci Naná Vasconcelos, grande percussionista brasileiro vejam o link da Wikipédia ( em baixo) para mais informações, e gostei muito do que ele disse ao ponto de o citar aqui:

"Esse pensamento assim de que nós estamos fazendo música assim ou assado, nós, nós vamos fazer música. Porque eu acho que músico quando ele toca, ele tem procurar dizer alguma coisa, não explicar, porque ninguém perguntou nada" (risos, foi mais gargalhada mesmo!)

Gostei do que ouvi, porque se enquadra perfeitamente no que penso sobre Música "Pensada" VS Música "Sentida".

To early, we loose a great musician to eternity. A great reference. The best tribute that we can do is to sing his songs.

Cedo, perdemos um grande músico para a eternidade. Uma grande referência. A melhor homenagem é cantarmos as músicas dele.
